The library

The library is the beating heart of independent learning at the University of Austin. Since the earliest times, libraries have served as cultural arteries for communicating ideas across the ages.

At our university, the library has been designed as a space where no idea will ever be off limits, where students can learn anything they desire, and where the greatest ideas that have been thought are available to discover and discuss again.

In the past, the curation of library collections has emphasized the interests of teachers, but at the University of Austin, we will prioritize the interests of our students.

We invite our students, to help shape the library by creating communities of shared learning, requesting books to recommend to their peers, and volunteering to serve on the Library Committee.
